In my travels, I’m always taking photos of industrial structures, abandoned buildings, and urban landscapes. I use these photos as references for the abstract landscapes I paint back in my studio. I love working in acrylics because of their quick drying time, enabling me to layer and rework areas of the painting on the fly. Coming from a Graphic Design background, my work is more graphic and hard-edged than painterly.

I also enjoy the challenge of plein-air painting with oils, which impels you to focus on simplifying and not overthinking the painting process.

 I received my BA in Fine Arts from Montclair University in NJ. I also studied at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) and The Art Students League in New York City. I am a current and founding member of the Studios of Cocoa Beach. I am also an active member of the Brevard Cultural Alliance (BCA).
