September 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th from 1:00-4:00 PM
This 4 Day Workshop will concentrate on 4 different subject/areas: SKIES/CLOUDS; TREES; WATER/WAVES; AND BEACH/ROCKS. This class is for all levels. Join Jan working each class on these specific subjects. The goal is not to complete a painting, but to work on various techniques to accomplish successful areas. One class will focus on skies and clouds, encompassing clear blue skies, dark foreboding skies and sunsets. Second class allows the participants to work on various tree skills. The third class will show several treatments for water, including oceans, waves, and lakes. The last class will work on beach and sand. Rocks will be practiced also.
Instructor Bio: Jan is a professional artist and instructor with her BFA and Masters in Education and Art. She brings her 50+ years of experience to the participants in every class. She believes that "it is important to interpret art as you wish, to enjoy the art of painting, to not feel the need to copy any painting/instructor, and to feel progress, which is her passion." She works to develop each persons' individual styles and desires.
