APRIL 14 From 2:00PM to 5:00PM
This class is designed for both beginners and those wishing to refresh! Learn the use of watercolor ink as a painting; various techniques including washes and pen detailing. We will work with different instruments - bamboo, glass, pens and experiment with many papers. We will have fun trying these ink experiences, while not worrying we will "ruin" a painting. You will be ready, after class to paint a picture in watercolor ink, or add to you watercolor painting and understand what you will need.
Jan is a professional artist and instructor. With her BFA and Masters in Education and Art, she brings her 50+ years of experience to the participants in every class. She believes that: "it is important to interpret art as you wish; to enjoy the art of painting; to not feel the need to copy any painter/instructor; and to feel progress, which is her passion"! She works to develop each persons' individual style and desires.
