This Creative Photography class is about using interesting techniques to turn you photographs into works of art, for beginners to advanced. Whether you use a mirrorless or DSLR camera with interchangeable lens, we will explore the possibilities of the images these cameras are capable of, other than just setting on Auto and snapping the shutter. We will also review some of the iPhone settings and multiple ways to spark your inner creativity. We will explore composition concepts, as well as techniques such as long exposure, intentional camera movement (ICM), and adding textures, whether obtained directly in camera or with various software and Apps.
Bring your cameras and your iPhone and be prepared to be inspired!
Your instructor is Rebecca Ragain, a local photographic artist. Rebecca received a Certification in Photography from Eastern Florida State University in 2011. She has been teaching photography, Lightroom, and Photoshop for over 10 years. Please direct any questions to Rebecca at rragain@hotmail.com or 321-501-7774.
