Create your own magical coral reef using encaustic techniques to build up beautiful dimensional surfaces and textures to recreate the underwater realm.
All materials provided, students will have a 12” round art board to paint on, although they are free to bring in their own substrate as long as it’s a solid surface (not canvas).
Hazel Griffiths is a multidisciplinary artist originally from England, with a primary focus on encaustic painting. Using wax and mixed media, she builds textured, organic surfaces that become atmospheric landscapes.
$35 for materials to be collected at class.
