Learn how to incorporate Abstract techniques in the painting regardless of whether you want your completed painting to be Abstract, Impressionistic, or Realistic! Jan will help you free up your style in order to understand how the abstract can enhance any painting. Watercolor and Acrylic will be used to experiment techniques. All levels welcome!
Jan is a professional artist and instructor. With her BFA and Masters in Education and Art, she brings her 50+ years of experience to the participants in every class. she believes that: "it is important to interpret art as you wish; to enjoy the art of painting; to not feel the need to copy any painter/instructor; and to feel progress, which is her passion"! She works to develop each persons' individual style and desires.
