August 12 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM - This class is for the beginner, or those wishing to refresh! Learn different types of watercolor paper; various techniques, including wet on wet and wet on dry; brushes and paint choices. We will have fun trying these watercolor experiences, while not worrying we will "ruin" a painting. You will be ready, after class to paint a picture in watercolor and understand what you will need.
Jan is a professional artist and instructor. With her BFA and Masters in Education and Art, she brings her 50+ years of experience to the participants in every class. She believes that: "it is important to interpret art as you wish; to enjoy the art of painting; to not feel the need to copy any painter/instructor; and to feel progress, which is her passion"! She works to develop each persons' individual style and desires.
