March Art for Kids: African Animal Masks
- Studios of Cocoa Beach 165 Minutemen Causeway Cocoa Beach, FL, 32931 United States (map)
Saturdays - March 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd - 10AM to 11AM
This month we'll go on a safari through Africa and explore some of the animals we can find in the savanna - lions, tigers, elephants, and more!
We will plan and create decorative masks using recycled materials, paint, and lots of creativity
This super-fun art class focuses on process, rather than product. Process art allows children to explore and make connections without the pressure of "right" or "wrong" ways to do things. It helps develop creativity and self-esteem by focusing on what kids imagine rather than their skill level. With excitement and interest in their own creations, kids grow curious and naturally start developing those skills. I keep the group small so that each child can have as much attention and guidance as they need to create and learn!
Recommended for kids in Elementary school age: around 4 to 12 years old
