Working in a number of mediums including oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor and pencil; my paintings include portraits of people, rainforest, island environments and fantasy. I often use mythology and symbolism hiding figures and symbols within my work in order to promote discovery, encouraging the viewer to enter the images in hopes of promoting an experience. The idea is much like what happens when you sit for a time in contemplation of your surroundings.

Living in a colorful island environment for many years, color also plays an important role and my palette has evolved into a vibrant dialogue of color as a tool to express mood. Ultimately my intention is to communicate beauty in a spiritual sense.
