Delia Swenson is a long time member of the Studios of Cocoa Beach. After nearly a year living in California, Delia is now back for a short period of time and once again shares her art in the Studios. She is a prolific painter depicting mainly landscapes and flowers, the environment she loves. She claims painting came naturally to her and paints with little effort. She seems to know just what to do to communicate the beauty that she sees surrounding her. 

I picked up a paintbrush for the first time in November of 2009. At that time I was going through some difficult times so I prayed ... He heard me... and He gave me Art. I’m not sure I can call that self-taught. To tell the truth, I cannot draw a good stick figure, however, I am now a person that puts oil on canvas. I love where I go when I am painting. I find joy, love and peace when I am there on the canvas.
